About Us

A visit to Chicago's Lincoln Park Conservatory was the inspiration behind KATERI PHOTO CARDS.  By combining the photogaphers' names, KATERI was born.  Unbeknownst to the photographers, it is also the name of a Native American Indian.  Kateri Tekakwitha is the patroness of ecology and the environment.

The KATERI logo, a clay figure of an Indian woman with a jar, seemed the ideal symbol for a venture intent on capturing the many signs of beauty, especially natural.  The jar represents our universal need to fill our souls with the gifts of beauty that surround us all.  Our hope is to share with you that beauty.
